Nine months old plant blooming in January

INDOOR BEGOINA

Begonia offers more variety than just about any other genus of house plant. The begonia family includes everything from rhizomatous plants grown for their colorful foliage to tuberous plants grown for their beautiful flowers and from compact miniatures to tall shrub-like angel-wings with silver-marbled leaves.
Indoor begonias are more tender relatives to the ornamental bulb begonias grown outdoors during the summer months.
Growing conditions: semi bright/filtered light away from direct sun light, best in east or north-west window,
Blooming: prolific blooms on long stems, small disks will form in January and develop into angle-winged flowers
Moisture: water when dry to prevent drying out but don't let stand in water. Water should be absorbed within 4 hours
Propagation:  Plant is propagated from cuttings. Branches growing out of the base can be cut and let to root in water.
Pests: no known pests, overwatering will cause rot
